Our Story

Founder Mike Glover, alongside his son Shaun Glover, started this fast and thrilling business back in 2001. Exploring the wild coast alongside other adventurous places, Mike’s vision was to make it possible for any adventure seeker to join.

Together Shaun and Mike run Dirt Bike Tours along with many other events in South Africa, they both have a vast experience on the coast, they know the locals really well and both will agree you are safe in their hands.

You start your day where we take you to a remote destination where vehicle access is simply impossible. Explore the “Kingdoms of mountains”, the beautiful Roof of Africa, where your only obstacle is the mighty rivers and steep hills. Your reward is beautiful views, wind on your face and a cold beer at the end of the day.

Plan A Trip And Explore The Wonders.

3 Days

For the next 3 Days, Kob Inn will be your homebound and resting place. You’ll travel through the wild coast with a group and explore not only the famous Jacaranda shipwreck, The Kobonqaba but you’ll also be heading North towards the Shixini and Ngabara Rivers and many more beautiful places to explore. Through rivers crossing and undulating grass hills and steep cliffs, you’ll end the day at a beautiful beach house with bonfires and an ice-cold beer, making memories.

5 Days

Travelling from East London, your journey awaits ahead. You travel to your resting spot for the night, Kob Inn and make your way all the way over the Jujura River and onto the magnificent Shixini point. You’ll spend your night at a cosy beach house at Xora and head to Coffee Bay (The best riding spot in the world) and the finale to the magnificent Hole-in-the-Wall that will bring this stunning day to an end, where you’ll hit the sack at a local backpackers. After the final day of rocky mountain and river crossing, we head back home to East London.

7 Days

Starting in East London ending with a Maluti Lager on Lesotho Mountain. We take you on this wild 7-day and 6-night journey. We will explore places like the famous Jacaranda shipwreck, the magnificent Shixini point, the hole in the Wall and Coffee Bay and not to mention we tackle the Devils Staircase to the Makhaleng River. Day 6, This is a big day for the bikers as we tackle the Baboons Pass on our way to the “Place of Smoke” namely Semonkong lodge. On the last day, you’ll have an option of heading downhill to Baboons pass and lunch at Ramabanta Lodge or cross the famous Roof of Africa pass of Music Box into our final overnight stop, the Trading Post. A traditional South African barbeque and lots of cold Maluti Lagers are the order of the day.

Once you have contacted us and the final booking arrangement has been set, we take care of the rest from flight booking to shuttles even accommodations. We also create WhatsApp groups where we answer all your questions.

Qualified Mechanics

We take pride in caring for your safety, we have qualified mechanics on hand at all times. We even go as far as taking along spare bikes to ensure that no mechanical issues occur.

Extra Activities

Looking at making the most of the trip, our team can set up post-event packages from big 5 game lodge visits, shark cage diving to cross country road trips. We can add extra luxury on the trip from professional chefs, massage therapists, fishing charterers.

Accommodation

You’ll be staying at the Kobb In Beachhouse. a Wild Coast beach house, which is rustic but is the perfect environment for the group to bond and relax. Luxury Lodges and a local Backpackers.
