For the next 3 days, Kob Inn and our Beach house will be your homebound and resting place. You’ll travel through the wild coast with a group and explore not only the famous Jacaranda shipwreck, The Kobonqaba but you’ll also be heading North towards the Shixini and Ngabara Rivers along with many more beautiful places along the journey. Through rivers crossing and undulating grass hills and steep cliffs, you’ll end the day at a beautiful beach house with bonfires and an ice-cold beer, making memories.

Day 1

Meet Red Cherry crew at Morgan Bay, approximately 50km North of East London. It’s a tar road to the coast. We load all bags, spares and gas into Red Cherry vehicle. It’s a great day’s ride to Kob Inn – 85km. The route takes us past the famous Jacaranda shipwreck and many river crossings. The Kobonqaba, Cebe and Qora being our big 3 for Day 1. The gorge between Mazeppa Bay and Kob Inn being the big one. The degree of difficulty is about 6 out of 10. Overnight at Kob Inn beach house.

Day 2

After a restful evening and a hearty breakfast you’re off to experience another exciting day in the saddle. Heading North towards the Shixini and Ngabara Rivers, this outing offers wonderful vantage points to take in the beautiful stretches of beaches, not to mention the undulating grass hills and steep cliffs which are the order of the day. Then after a day of sights and memory-making in the rugged outdoors, it’s back to Kob Inn for lots of beach chilling and beers around the fire.

Day 3

Day three marks the beginning of the homeward bound leg of the journey. After breakfast, the team rides out back towards Kei Mouth via a slightly different, yet equally challenging route. On reaching the Kei Mouth crossing, the bikes are ridden onto the ferry and the riders head home. Via shuttles that can be pre booked when entering.
